Who we are

Matt

Owner-Operator

Hi! I’m Matt, and I’m a born and raised BC boy. While I’ve spent most of my life in engineering and technology, my dream has always been to have a small farm. After starting mushroom growing as a hobby earlier this year, I became addicted to the fantastic and weird world of fungi and mushrooms. With an engineering mindset, I have set out to provide the best quality mushroom products through high-tech process control with custom equipment designed and built right here on our farm.

Shannon

Website/Social Media/Photography

Hiya! I’m Matt’s partner, Shannon. I was born and raised in rural Ontario with a passion for the ocean that borders obsession. I’ve dreamt of living on the BC coast since I was 8 years old. Mushrooms weren’t exactly a part of that, but I’ll take it! I mostly help out on the side, but occasionally you’ll see me at our roadside stand wrangling our over-enthusiastic puppy!

Princess Jellybean

Quality Assurance

Princess Jelly has had it rough. A life of turmoil has seen her sent to bunny prison 3 times, which led her to adopt a tough exterior and become a yard bully. This is where she received her princess moniker before finally being sent to solitary. She met us shortly after; her scrappy attitude and sad story made us want to give her a better life. Now she enjoys the run of the house, plenty of bananas, and spends her days lounging in the sun by the window.

Zola

Official Greeter

When you drive in, you often see our Greeter, Zola, on the property. Zola is VERY friendly and loves all humans. But she is still young and learning. If you don’t enjoy large puppies jumping up to give you kisses, perhaps say hello from a distance. People with dangly bits between their legs, be warned… she’s an aggressive booper with no boundaries.

Sunny

Customer Service

Sunny is a real no-nonsense, get ‘er done type of customer support agent. Have a complaint about our products or services? Don’t worry, Sunny’s here to make it right. The first thing she’ll do is ask if you want a hug. We recommend you not accept.
